Welcome to February!

I dearly hope this find you all fit and well. January has been a long dark gloomy month with bad news oozing out from all media, but we made it to the other side!

Take heart, we are through the darkest month and despite there being a way to go we have the promise of Spring to get us through this.

(Now a qualified NW instructor) Carole and I have been walking twice a week on a 1:1 basis with those members who pay by monthly Direct debit. The winter routes are generally on tarmac which makes them passable, which is a relief as it’s been so wet.

Take comfort, we WILL get back to our group walks, remember those heady days of stampeding across Camber Sand and over the hills of Eridge Park? Keep your eye on the light at the end of this tunnel and the joys that are yet to come.

In the meantime, keep walking, with or without your poles, enjoy the sky above your heads and the wind in your hair. I want you all fit and healthy and ready to go go go when we’re given the nod by Boris!
