Please note: All activities cancelled for now.

In my effort to protect you all I am taking advice from the government and NWUK HQ by withdrawing all scheduled Nordic walks for now. We are not being responsible towards each other if we meet in small groups and despite being outside, I fear that the social distancing of 2 metres will be jeopardised as we do like to walk and talk during our group walks. If we’re seen out walking together there may be some who feel we’re being irresponsible, so I hope you all support me in this decision.

In addition to that if you feel I’m being over cautious in cancelling the schedule of upcoming walks, I have in fact come back to 14 days self-isolation as a member of my household has a fever so I personally will not be able to get out in the short term anyway.

If you have booked and paid for a walk, course or one 2 one session I will be cancelling or removing you from them and this will generate a reimbursement or credit your account.

I will endevour to keep things afloat and do hope that we can all get together again later in the Spring.

Please do keep getting out there though; (if you are under 70) you can still Nordic walk independently!

Keep well and get in touch if you have anything to share!

Best wishes to you all,
