Nordic News 17th August

Nordic greetings,

What a scorcher last week was!

The Taster session on Saturday was fully attended and it was great to welcome lots of potential new members to the growing and very jolly NWUKTW team. The Learn to Nordic walk courses are accessible via the links below for ease, book your place soon!

Start date: 12th Sept https://exercise-anywhere.com/event/167037-Learn-to-Nordic-walk

Start date 17th October: https://exercise-anywhere.com/event/167312-Learn-to-Nordic-walk

Push the Pace on Wednesday evening was surely a challenge last week with temperatures still knocking 30’ when we set off. But you lovely lot weren’t deterred with 8 of us weaving our way up to Frant. Top marks from teacher! 🙂

Saturday morning too was splendid with 10 of us making our way from Eridge station across field and woodland under the watchful eye of the ancient sand stone rocks.

We have a cooler week ahead with a scamper across Camber sands on Sunday, what a treat. If you’re concerned about parking at Camber due to the bad press it’s had, fear not, we’ll be there early and almost gone before the hordes arrive. Plus, the weather looks to be pleasant but not hot so that should prove to be in our favour all round! There are a couple of places left. Book now! https://exercise-anywhere.com/event/151101-Camber-Sands-Low-Tide-Beach-Nordic-Walk-for-ALL-with-brunch-to-finish.

We’ll be at Penshurst twice this week, Tuesday morning for our Wellbeing walk with coffee to finish (for all abilities): https://exercise-anywhere.com/event/162221-Wellbeing-walk-@-Penshurst-with-car-boot-cafe-to-finish

And then again as we pick up the pace on Thursday evening, 6.30 start: https://exercise-anywhere.com/event/161285-Push-the-Pace-mid-week-Cardio-Adventure

All other activities that are in the schedule are here: https://nwuktunbridgewells.co.uk/activities/

Let’s get those thighs singing again this week!
