Good morning all,

A soaking wet one, I hope you’re all able to keep warm and dry!

The trees are really starting to turn now and the chill in the air is becoming more noticeable. If you’re planning to walk this week, we’ve got mixed bag ahead. You may need to start thinking of layering up soon, but remember ‘Be bold, start cold!’ You’ll soon warm up!

Last Saturday’s walk at Eridge followed by a pub lunch was great, we even sat outside in the afternoon sun to eat. So nice. Numbers are rising on my walks which is fabulous and more fun for all, keep coming!! We had some muddy narrow paths to tackle on Saturday, but we made the best of it by improvising. See attached video.

This week’s schedule:

This Wellbeing session is a lot of fun and we have a large group attending now. Come along of you’d like to ease into exercise gently, are overweight, inactive or elderly.

22nd October 8th October Gentle Nordic wellbeing at Muskerry Court

Remember the new time for Tread into Tuesday, this week starting at Dunorlan and working our way round three of TW’s fabulous parks:

22nd October 3.30pm Tread into Tuesday

Back to the south side of town this week for Urban cardio Adventure; more street pounding with stops for lunges & squats. What are you waiting for?

24th October 6.30pm Urban Cardio Adventure

Back to an old favourite on Saturday, the gorgeous Penshurst estate circular.

26th October 8.30am Step into shape

Looking ahead: On November 16th at 2pm I’ll be running a Nordic walk for all! This is your chance to bring your partners or friends along. No need to have done the Learn to Nordic walk course, but I do need everyone to book. New walkers will be taken through the registration process as you did when you signed up but I’ve set it up so anyone can attend. Poles provided for newbies. We’ll walk about 3 miles ending with tea and crumpets at the Nevill golf club. Book now and pop it in your diary!—All-welcome!

Don’t let the grass grow under your feet!
