Newsletter 17.9.19

Nordic greetings,

My Newsletter is a day late this week as I’ve been away at the annual NWUK festival, and what a festival! Lots of us must go next year, so many amazing walks on offer, as well as workshops, Tai Chi and yoga walking…………not to mention the breath-taking scenery.

Reminder that a new 4 week Learn to Nordic walk course is starting on 21st September, take the plunge and book your place today if you still haven’t done so, what are you waiting for?—Gear-1

The Nordic wellbeing sessions are taking shape and now being held at Hawkenbury Recreation ground on Tuesday afternoons at 2.30pm. If you’re unsure about Nordic walking but would like to get involved please book on. It’s very much tailored on getting you active if you’re elderly, overweight or lack confidence in other exercise classes. However, I have a few of my regular walkers coming along too who enjoy the exercises that provide a reflection of the type of movement we use in everyday living, keeping our spine moving and working on balance etc. Give it a try!
