News leading up to Christmas & into 2022

Things have been a bit quiet the last few weeks, but a few of us have been out there burning the calories we will probably be putting on again over the festive period! Saturday morning, we stepped into shape on a new route which proved delightful, especially as the grey clouds parted and the sun broke through the trees as we passed an ancient beech wood. See pics.

If you’d like to be part of what’s happening leading up to Christmas and into the New Year here’s what’s happening:

Tuesday 7th 9.30am Wellbeing walk from Penshurst

Thursday 9th 6.30pm Push the Pace from Lake Road

Saturday 11th 10.15am Festive Adventure walk followed by mulled wine & a bite to eat

Tuesday 15th December 6.30pm Push the Pace from Farmcombe road

Saturday 18th 8am Step into shape Franks Hollow to Bidborough—Franks-Hollow-to-Bidborough

Tuesday 21st December 9.30am Festive Wellbeing walk – Dunorlan Park with coffee to finish—Dunorlan-Park-with-coffee-to-finish

There will be a break over the Christmas week, but my January walks are live on the website, so we’ll be hitting the ground running, or more accurately Nordic walking in 2022. Carole’s will be published in due course.

Check out what’s coming up including a New Year Special revisiting the superb Knole Park on  8th January. Hoping for sunshine this time round!

Best Nordic wishes from Carole and me.

If you’re wondering why we are wearing hi viz we started our walk on the road before we made our way into the sticks.
