News 5th October 2020

Well what can I say?! What a sterling effort from those who braved the heady heights, high winds and rain at Firle yesterday. The sky cast a hundred tons of dismal grey and we me them face to face when reached the summit. Sadly, with bad visibility the 360* views were limited but you guys were magnificent! We made it up to the beacon!

I have decided to add this walk to the schedule again (by popular demand) however I will only be hosting this walk if it’s been a fairly dry autumn as it get extremely muddy and almost impassable ALSO if it looks clear with good visibility. The joy of this walk is the 360 views and with low cloud it loses its magnificence. Book your place to indicate how many of you want it please. Next date is November 22nd

Chris and Georgia joined have the team gained their freedom passports. Well done both, I’m looking forward to seeing more of you both as we all walk our way through autumn and winter!

Note: I have now published all my walks up to the Christmas so get booking! Our Christmas festive walk is on Saturday 19th December when I’d love to see loads of you, throw on something festive and pimp up those poles! The walk will be at Penshurst and will end with warm mulled wine and festive nibbles.
