News 26th July 2021

Saturday’s hike up to Firle Beacon was epic. We had fabulous weather with a scattering of clouds and a lovely south easterly breeze. We did the route clockwise which is a little more challenging with the long steep hill climb but, boy oh boy, the 360’ views at the top make it worth the effort. Thank you all for coming along and for your awesome efforts on that hill, the laughs, the chats and the general feeling of belonging we all get when we are out as a group like that. If you missed it and want to do this one again, please let me know and I’ll do it again later in the year if I can.

Things a little fragmented in the coming weeks as I’m away for part of it (my birthday and camping trip) so please chose what you can from what’s on offer between Carole and myself.

Tuesday 3rd August 7pm Join Carole on an Ashdown Evening Hike – Old Lodge Nature Reserve—Old-Lodge-Nature-Reserve
