|Bring on the Bluebells!
The Wellbeing walk on Tuesday morning was well attended and a delight with an abundance of bluebells and bird song within the woodlands at Highwoods. We had to hop, skip and jump over a few unexpected muddy puddles after the wet weather over the previous weekend which brought about a bit more of a challenge than was expected but we improvised and made it back to the bowls club in good time. Well done all.
More bluebells still at Minepit wood on Saturday for our 5 miler when we clambered over 13 styles no less! Great effort all!!

Carole’s Sunday morning walk which will be leaving from Groombridge Sports ground at 8.30am.
This is a beautiful walk in the Groombridge countryside taking in the sights and smells of the sea of bluebells along the wide walkway that leads into the woods following the river. Walking up the quiet road of the quirky hamlet of Motts Mill and eventually reaching the summit of the sandstone outcrop by Penns in the Rocks
